Whether you are an experienced runner or just starting out, RUN:ZEN’s workshops introduce mindfulness skills that can help you to:

  • run with more enjoyment and presence
  • prevent injury through learning good running form, and
  • find greater all-round wellbeing

Mindful running - Integrating Body and Mind
This workshop offers an introduction to mindful running through exploring how we can develop greater embodied presence as our focus when running. Through the workshop we will learn how to more fully integrate mindful awareness in stillness and in movement.

The workshop also introduces the key mindfulness concept of the Doing and Being modes of mind, which we explore at our base for the day through mindfulness meditation activities before we head outside to practice Full Embodied Running.

Participants will receive a follow up email with supporting materials and will be invited to participate in RUN:ZEN's free community runs throughout the year.
