The perfect way to support your health and wellbeing

Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing (TMW) is a unique blend of gentle movement with awareness, offering physical, mental and emotional benefits. Over the four weeks of the course, you will learn the 12-move TMW Flex Sequence and by the end be able to guide yourself through the whole practice.

TMW offers many benefits including:
– increasing your circulation and flexibility;

– improving your balance;

– increasing your body/mind co-ordination;

– supporting a feeling of wellbeing.

TMW has the capacity to bring all that is gained through the practice into every aspect of your life.  It really can be the catalyst of change for how you live your life.

How fit do I need to be?

The beauty of the TMW sequence is that it can be done standing or seated, so it is easily adapted to suit all abilities. When registering for the course, you will be asked to share details of any health conditions etc that we should be aware of.

If you have any concerns at all about whether TMW is suitable for you, please email Stuart at stuartmcleod05@gmail.com.

Learning in easy steps

The course has been developed and refined over many years to support you in building your learning. Each week we introduce new themes for you to practice in your own time.

To get the best from the course you are encouraged to maintain a regular home practice between the sessions. We provide you with a recording of the 12-move TMW Flex sequence which you can follow at home.

This workshop revolutionized my running. I stopped listening to music whilst running and instead started paying attention to my feet, body and the surroundings. I started forefoot running and adjusted my posture, which means I have been injury free since then. No more shin splints and itb pain.
