Tai Chi Movements & Qigong
Tai chi and qigong are ancient Chinese body-mind practices focused on improving health and wellbeing.
Tai chi is traditionally understood as a martial art, typically based on flowing ‘forms’ which can be complex to learn. My training and teaching instead primarily focuses on a simple and accessible sequence called Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing (TMW) which draws upon principles from both tai chi and qigong. Qigong is more of an umbrella term for practices that cultivate and balance vital energy (qi/chi) within the body. I am also a qualified Qigong Instructor.
My teaching of TMW and qigong is influenced through my training as a teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I have taught TMW to hundreds of students both in person and online and will be growing my programme of teaching going forward.
Currently I offer courses, free public drop-in sessions and tailored one-to-one training, both in person and online.

TMW – personalised training
Recognising that everyone’s needs are different, I can offer bespoke training opportunities (online or in-person) to learn and deepen your practice of TMW, designed to fit your circumstances.
To get started, I offer a free 30-minute consultation on Zoom to learn more about your needs and to discuss the options available to you.
